Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

          The Church Council decided to cancel the Cookout scheduled for this coming Sunday due to the increasing number of Covid cases. Given the uncertainty of things it was decided that it was best to be over cautious. Our worship services, however, will continue as they have been, but we do encourage everyone to wear a mask.

          The attached prayer, which I will pray during our ZOOM worship time tonight, August 11, at 7:00 PM, tries to express what I was beginning to think and, perhaps, you as well: that the pandemic was about over, along with some other things. As always, I hope it speaks to you in some way or, at least, gives you a start on your prayers.

          May God continue to lead us beyond these days to the day when what we pray will be over is over and we can enjoy our days once more,
