Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,
     Please join us this Sunday, December 19, for a Christmas Gathering, following worship. We will serve store-bought cookies (placed in individual baggies) and cider. In this way, we hope to keep the gathering as safe as possible. After the gathering, we will set up the pew torches and candelabras for Christmas Eve – please stay and lend a hand.
     Then, on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24, we will gather at 5:00 PM for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service of Worship. A very beautiful Prelude will begin at 4:30 PM.
     The attached prayer, which I will pray during our ZOOM worship time tonight, December 15, at 7:00 PM, might strike you as familiar since I prayed a version of it last year at this time. I hope distance makes it fresh enough to speak to you anew.
     May we remember those for whom Christmas can be a tough time and be a gift to them in our compassion and love,
