Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,
        First off, some announcements concerning upcoming events:
                On Sunday, December 12, following worship, we will have a Congregational Meeting to act on a budget for 2022
                A Christmas Get-Together is planned for Sunday, December 19, following worship, to give us the opportunity to                   talk with one another and catch up a bit. Christmas cookies and refreshments will be served.
                 Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service of Rejoicing will be held at 5:00 PM, with a special prelude                     beginning at 4:30 PM
I hope you will be able to be a part of these gatherings.
      The attached prayer, which I will pray during our ZOOM worship time tonight, November 24, at 7:00 PM is rather different from most of my previous prayers because it is not a prayer that is meant to be prayed by others. Rather, it prays that you pray your own prayer of thanks that honestly reflects what you are going through and are feeling. That is the best prayer of thanks there is.
        May God grace us with the faith to somehow give thanks in all circumstances,
