Jeffrey M. Halenza, Pastor

January 5, 2022

Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

Once again, I want to thank you for your prayers for Kitty and me, this time for Covid. And once again, we’re planning to soon return, this time on Sunday, January 9.

And this leads me to the attached prayer, which I will pray during our ZOOM Worship Time tonight, January 5, at 7:00 PM. I freely admit that it’s a bit ragged, but then I’ve been feeling a bit ragged this past month, more than a bit. And so have many of you. It's been a tough year, a tough Christmas, a tough New Year for many among us and it's you I've been thinking about a lot. But I've also been thinking about others among us for whom the year went rather well and who have much to celebrate. What makes the prayer ragged is trying to pray for all of you in the same prayer. I hope it speaks to you in some way or other.

May God grace us with the faith and strength we need to manage what the new year brings,

Pastor Halenza
