Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,
     The Church Council met last night via ZOOM and decided to continue in-person worship services in light of the fact that those who do attend feel we provide a very safe environment for gathering. We will also of course continue with the videos. In addition, we are planning to hold a Parking Lot Communion Service on Saturday, January 23, at 11:00 AM.
     Looking ahead to Lent, we will observe Ash Wednesday, February 17, with a Parking Lot Service of Communion and the Imposition of Ashes at noon. We will use our Wednesday Conference Call time to do Mid-week Lenten services.
     The attached prayer, which I will pray during our Conference Call tonight at 7:00 PM, reflects my reaction to the attack on the Capitol last Wednesday and thus it is another very personal prayer that may or may not reflect what you feel. I can only hope it speaks to you in some way.
     May God grace our nation with peace and healing and hope in these tumultuous days,
